Counseling Services Through Catholic Social Services

Catholic Social Services provides counseling services for people in need. Professionals and licensed counselors offer confidential support. Our counseling programs include providing support for women after they have had an abortion, married couples in need of counseling and access to substance use counseling programs.

  • Beautiful Beginnings acts as a one-stop-shop webpage where new parents, expecting parents, and parents of young children find the resources they need for their young families. This site lists many informational tools and services for the journey of parenthood.

  • Catholic Social Services provides Outpatient Counseling Services at some of our regional Family Service Centers and other locations. These counseling services are available through Catholic Clinical Consultants, a division of Catholic Social Services. Licensed therapists offer counseling to individuals, married couples, and families to help them deal with stress and anxiety, substance abuse, relationship conflicts, and other behavioral or mental health issues.

  • In response to the opioid crisis in Philadelphia, the Recovery and Hope webpage provides resources for people suffering from addiction to opioids and other drugs and alcohol and those exhibiting other self-destructive behaviors. The webpage also assists with exploring treatment programs for those afflicted with the disease of addiction.

  • Our mission at Catholic Social Services is to help those with unexpected pregnancies choose life and make an adoption plan. Our adoption services allow birth parents to find support, children to find loving homes, and for families to expand.

Adoption services through Catholic Social Services assist families seeking to expand their homes and hearts with the gift of adoption. Birth parents receive counseling and other supportive services, allowing them to explore and consider their options to make an informed decision about whether to place their child for adoption.

  • Catholic Social Services provides assistance and information to those who have previously chosen abortion. Project Rachel, a ministry of the Catholic Church in the United States, offers help and healing to those who have been involved in abortion. If you or someone you know is suffering after abortion, confidential, non-judgmental help is available from Project Rachel Ministry.
